Recruiter

Functional summary:  This position supports the District Managers in assuring that open positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified candidates by actively recruiting and screening applicants.  The Recruiters supports the transition of applicants to new hires.

 

Job Functions

  • Interact regularly with defined group of District Managers to receive and review requirements for reps to fill open positions
  • Determine recruitment methods to be utilized to attract optimal candidates.
  • Place ads and postings as required
  • Handle incoming applicant flow from solicited and unsolicited sources
  • Process applicants appropriately through My Staffing Pro recruitment system
  • Actively screen candidates and recommend for further screening
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts with DMs regularly
  • Inform RMs and management of recruitment efforts through regular reporting
  • Pro-actively contact RMs or internal management with recruiting concerns and need for priority of recruitment activities to be verified
  • Serve as back up for additional recruiter when on vacation
  • Cross train in other functional areas of Retail Service internal support as directed by RSOM

Job Requirements

  • Prefer 2 years high volume recruitment background
  • Human resource knowledge base – drawn from 2 years HR college curriculum or other formalized HR training.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • PC and Microsoft office skills including intermediate excel knowledge
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Customer service orientation towards internal clients
  • Ability and desire for upward movement in the organization
