Project Coordinator - Optical

This position reports to the Senior Product Manager and has the following responsibilities:

 

  • Independently complete projects according to timelines established by the Senior Product Manager and Director of Product Development.
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Lead Project Coordinator to execute product requests for the accounts/merchants.
  • Communicate with suppliers and convey product specific information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of approval, QC and sales samples.
  • Review all in-coming samples and alert suppliers and Senior Product Manager to any potential quality control issues.
  • Work with the Sample Support group to ensure product is neatly organized and replenished when needed. 
  • Compile reports and create item specific data sheets as requested
  • Enter item information into the Phoenix data base system.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effectively multi-task under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.  Data entry skills helpful.
  • Positive attitude and “can do” spirit.
